Who this policy covers
This policy applies to RSB Electrical Inc., a family-owned electrical contractor based in Mesa, Arizona, licensed under AZ ROC #167102 (CR-11). It covers the information you give us on this website, over the phone, by text and in person at your home or business.
We have been doing this since 2001, and Reno has been in the trade since 1983. In all that time the answer to "what do you do with my information" has been the same: we use it to do the electrical work you asked for, and nothing else.
Information we collect
We only ask for what we need to find you, understand the job and quote it honestly. Depending on how you reach us, that may include:
- Your name, service address, phone number and email address, so we can schedule the visit and send your written quote.
- A description of the electrical problem, and any photos you choose to send of a panel, breaker, fixture or outlet.
- Notes our electricians make on site about the work performed, materials used and anything we recommend for later.
- Invoice and payment records, which we keep as the business record of the job and as your proof of warranty.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit this site, such as the pages you viewed and the general region you visited from.
How we use your information
Your information is used to run the job and stand behind it: to schedule the visit, prepare a written quote, order the right parts, pull permits where the work requires them, invoice you, and honor the one-year warranty on labor and materials if you call us back.
We may also use your phone number or email to follow up on an estimate you asked for, to confirm an appointment, or to let you know an electrician is running late. If you tell us you would rather not hear from us again, that is the end of it.
Phone calls and text messages
Our phone is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and for emergency calls that is often the fastest way to reach us. If you text us photos of a panel or a fixture, those photos and messages stay in the job record for that address.
We do not sell or share your phone number with lead brokers, marketing companies or other contractors. We do not add you to a mass texting list because you called us once about a tripped breaker.
Cookies, analytics and embedded widgets
This site uses a small number of third-party tools, and those tools may set cookies or record that your browser loaded them:
- Customer review widgets, which display our public Google and Yelp reviews. The reviews are hosted by the review platform, not by us.
- Our service request form, which passes what you type directly to us so we can call you back.
- Standard website analytics, which tell us which pages people read and how they found us. We look at totals, not individuals.
Who we share information with
We are a small family company and we keep it that way. Your information is shared only where the job genuinely requires it: with a city or county building department when a permit or inspection is needed, with the utility when a service disconnect and reconnect has to be coordinated, with a supplier when a specific part has to be ordered for your address, and with our own electricians on the job.
We do not sell your information. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to lead-generation services. If a customer review mentions your name, that is because you wrote it yourself on a public review platform.
How long we keep it, and how we protect it
Job records, invoices and permit paperwork are kept for as long as we are required to keep them as a licensed Arizona contractor, and because they are what lets us honor a warranty claim or answer a question about work we did years ago.
Estimates that never became jobs are kept only as long as they are useful. Our written quotes are honored for 30 days, and after that an old estimate is just an old number.
We take reasonable care with the information we hold, including limiting who in the company can see it. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not keep information we have no use for, which is the simplest protection there is.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us what we have on file for your address, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete your contact details. Call and ask — the family answers the phone, and we will handle it directly.
We may need to keep certain records even after such a request, such as invoices and permit documentation we are obligated to retain as a licensed contractor. If that applies, we will tell you plainly which records we are keeping and why.
Children's privacy
This website is meant for adults arranging electrical work on a home or business. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy, and how to reach us
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site or to request service after that means the current version applies.
