How We Tell One From the Other
Nobody should agree to a whole-house rewire on a verdict alone. These are the findings that actually distinguish a house that needs repairs from one that needs replacement.
What Owners of Older Gilbert Homes Ask
1.How do I know which of the four I need?
By evidence. The year is the weakest input there is. The findings point at different jobs, and they are visible once a handful of specific places are opened. Anybody recommending the largest of the four without having opened anything is working from a guess.
2.An inspection report flagged my wiring. Is that the same as needing a rewire?
Not usually. Those reports are written to note anything worth a second look, which is a lower bar than a recommendation to replace. It is a reason to have somebody establish which of the four you are looking at, and frequently the answer is the smallest one.
3.Do I have to move out?
Normally no. The work is sequenced so the house stays usable, which is slower than emptying it and much easier to live with. Where a particular stage genuinely cannot be worked around, you are told which days those are well ahead.
4.Can I do it in stages?
Often, and the important part is that the boundary is chosen deliberately, and does not simply fall where the work stopped. A staged job leaves a house with two systems in it for a while, and somebody has to know where the join is.
5.What does rewiring a Gilbert house cost?
Nothing published, and on this service that matters most, because the four jobs are not close to one another in size. Establishing which one you need is the first useful thing anybody can do for you. The walkthrough is free.
